Not sure if you’ve noticed, but I haven’t posted for a few weeks. There was that brief get away with my husband for our anniversary that took away from writing on the blog. But, the main reason I’ve not posted is that I have a new website – http://kalopamakaifarms.com. In addition to this blog, there is so much to see on the site, so take your time, and check it out. We’re still working on it, but for the most part it’s ready to go.
Here’s the thing, I didn’t make this awesome site, so if you’re wondering who did, it was my dear friend, Jodi Bearden. Check out her site – http://jodibearden.com. Not only is she super talented and creative, she just happens to be one of the sweetest people I know. We’ve been friends for a little over a year, and she created this site for me just by getting to know me and our farm, my likes, my dislikes, my style, etc,. I can’t tell you how happy I am with the finished product. She is a dream to work with, super professional, and I know I said it before, but very creative. So if you’re looking at creating your own site or need a logo help with branding for your company, I highly recommend her.
I also have a new on-line store which I will to be adding to soon. Right now, I just have one type of soap listed, but I have more on the way. All the soaps will include products from the farm. In addition to the soap, I will be selling some of our spices, teas, and coffee. We’re in the heart of coffee cherry picking right now, so our limited quantity estate coffee will be on the site in the coming months.
I’m interested in hearing from you too. If there is something you read about that we’re doing on the farm, and you’re interested in purchasing it, let me know. Some items may not be able to be shipped to the mainland, but many things are. In addition, if you live on Island and you’re looking for specific produce, we may be able to make that happen.
