I spent the morning picking poha berries more commonly known as gooseberries. See the pictures above. The Poha berry has an outer shell very similar to a tomatillo. It’s paper thin but you have to take it off. It took over an hour to peel all those berries . The chickens have been very busy as you can see with all the eggs, and we had our first batch of Chinese peas. I love Chinese peas; they are one of my favorite vegetables. The hubby went fishing and caught a really nice ono that we’ve been eating all week . It’s certainly been a productive week on the farm.
